In 2005, she finally felt ready to answer the other call in her life - one to ministry - which she had felt since she was 19. As a fourth-generation pastor, she likes to say she "entered the family business." After a year at Louisville Seminary, she transferred to Yale Divinity School where she earned her MDiv in 2008. As an ordained PC(USA) pastor with nearly 2 decades of experience, Adele takes seriously and joyfully her vow to serve the church with "energy, intelligence, imagination and love."
In her spare time, Adele loves to hike or walk, work in her garden, share a glass of beer or wine with friends, read, attend concerts/theater, and travel.
Being called to greater participation in the church, Kris also serves as a Commissioned Ruling Elder in National Capital Presbytery. Kris spends much of her time at Warner providing pastoral care to many of our home-bound members and providing leadership in Worship as needed.
